Regional Transportation and Complete Mobility Steering Committee
The April 16, 2013 Regional Transportation and Complete Mobility Steering Committee was a combined meeting and workshop to scope the regional benefits of regional transit governance. Elected officials, staff and other municipal stakeholders participated in a work shop to determine the regional benefits, challenges and risks of continuing with regional transit implementation (up to now known as Scenario 1). The workshop also determined the benefits, challenges and risks of the Calgary Regional Partnership (CRP) owning and operating regional transit assets referred to as Scenario 2. At the end of the workshop the steering committee approved a motion for the CRP to further develop scenario 2.
